Letter from the Dean

Dear, Class of 2023!

“Anybody who has survived his childhood has enough information about life to last him the rest of his days.”   

Catholic writer and cartoonist Flannery O’Connor frequently made this comment as she was speaking about her own life, which included living with lupus, walking with crutches, and World War II. O’Connor never lost her wry sense of humor nor her belief in celebrating the unfathomable mysteries of life, such as—  

YOU’VE INDEED MADE IT! You are graduating soon with a hard-earned college degree!
