- Be enrolled in an Academic Internship Course in the term in which they apply.
- Provide a photo, bio, and description of the internship
- Submit a copy of your Learning Agreement or personal learning goals.
Once applications are reviewed, all applicants will be informed whether they have been selected. Student internship positions will be confirmed with reported supervisors.
Who can apply? Undergraduate students enrolled in an academic internship course in conjunction with an unpaid internship. Selections will be based on quality of application.
How do I apply? Applications for fall 2026 will open in September 2026.
All final payments are processed through Loyola's Financial Aid department. Students must complete all required paperwork to receive payments, which will be applied to their Loyola account.
Note: If a student has maxed out their aid for the full academic year (received scholarships and loans up to or beyond their official Cost of Attendance), Loyola will apply the Unpaid Academic Internship Award to the student's loan balance. If the student has received the Unpaid Academic Internship Award (or Mellon Award, through CELTS) in the past, they are no longer eligible.
