Internships
A vital component to Loyola University Chicago and to CUERP’s mission is the guidance of students through their education and ensuring that the experience is rewarding. Research and hands-on fieldwork fulfills that role. CUERP works to keep students informed of internship opportunities related to urban environmental initiatives. Internships assist students to better define their long-term career goals while experiencing the satisfaction of learning beyond the classroom.
Undergraduate Research Fellowship
CUERP's Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program offers students the opportunity to conduct summer research projects on issues addressing the unsustainable uses of natural resources in the greater Chicagoland region, the feedback of environmental degradation on the structure and function of ecosystems and human health.
The program funds up to five fellows each summer. For more information about the program, download the information packet and application.
