Dr. Emma Rosi-Marshall
Dr. Emma Rosi-Marshall is an expert in stream ecology in the Department of Biology. Her primary research takes a look at the impacts of urbanization, forestry and agricultural practices on stream ecosystem function.
Currently Dr. Rosi-Marshall, with undergraduate and graduate students, is researching the effects of pharmaceuticals on local aquatic invertebrates and ecosystem functions. Experiments examining the effects of these novel contaminants are conducted in the Artificial Stream and Pond Research Facility.
