Poster Printing

We've improved and updated or process to bring you an easier and faster way to submit poster requests! Previously, poster requests were submitted using our paper-based forms. The Digital Media Lab is proud to announce that we currently accept poster requests through the MyITS website (https://myits.luc.edu).

PLEASE NOTE: The Digital Media Lab only accepts poster requests thru our online submission form. Fax requests will no longer be accepted. Additionally, drop-off paper-based requests, will be referred to our website to be submitted. By submitting online, we can ensure expedited service and proper follow-up.

In order to provide up-to-date information and instructions for submitting online poster requests, please review the following resources:

File Dimensions & Guidelines

All files printed through the Digital Media Lab must be submitted in one of the following format(s):

  • PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx)
  • Adobe Acrobat PDF's (.pdf)
All posters will be printed on HP Heavy Coated Paper with a maximum width of 42 inches. (42in. x 150ft. per roll). Individual posters cannot be smaller than 8.27 inches for either dimension and cannot be larger than 42in. in height or 600in. in width. Posters less than 42in. in height will not be cut after printing as we do not have equipment capable of ensuring straight and clean cuts.

PRICE & PAYMENT MODEL

Poster prints cost $5.14 per foot by 42 inches as one dimension printed will be the paper roll’s width (42in.) regardless. (For example, a 24 inch x 36 inch poster would be billed for the 24 inch length and would cost $10.28.)

Posters can be paid by using Rambler Bucks or a Budget Code transfer within Loyola University Chicago. Unfortunately, the Digital Media Lab cannot accept cash or credit card as a payment for posters.

Processing and Printing Information

As a result of our new process, all posters will be processed, printed and ready for pick-up within 3 business days. Should any errors be identified in terms of printing, you will be contacted immediately with detailed information of the issue and options available. Once printed, you will be notified via email that posters will be available to pick up from the Digital Media Lab.
