Edgar is a junior at Loyola University Chicago studying sociology, political science, women studies, and gender studies. He is an intern in the office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs for all of the men initiatives on campus. He is a recipient of the Damen Award, works in Information Services at the front desk of Centennial Forum Student Union, and is a part of the Urban Issues Learning community. Originally from Dallas, Texas, where he was born and raised, Edgar enjoys video gaming, urban politics, and his family and friends. Edgar is currently applying to the Public Policy and International Affairs in hopes to better prepare for graduate school for Educational Policy, Social Policy, Housing Policy, and Penal Policy. He aspires to be a state legislator and/or local mayor for Dallas. Edgar hopes that one day to be the President of the United States. Edgar's overall interests and strengths are identity development, conversations of power and privilege, and theories and research on masculinity.
