Disability Awareness Week
disABILITY: Fight for Social Justice and Inclusion
Best Buddies, SAF, Services for Students with Disabilities (SSWD) and the Department of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs invite you to open your mind and heart as you gain awareness and knowledge about people with disabilities. Often times people with disabilities experience a lot of stigma and negative stereotypes. In addition the community often gets left out when we talk about issues of diversity and social justice. Join us for our week long of events and learn how you can become an ally to people with disabilities.
