Safe Space Workshops
Safe Space Workshops are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex (LGBTQI) community of Loyola University Chicago.
Safe Space Workshops cover the following:
- Definitions, terms, and symbols
- LGBTQI identity development
- Skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes
- Resources for the LGBTQI communities
Fall Semester Safe Space Training Dates:
Tuesday, October 6th 5:00-8:00 P.M. Place TBD
Tuesday, September 15th 9:00-12:00 P.M. Place TBD
Combined Session (Faculty/Staff and Students)
Tuesday, November 10th 12:00-3:00 P.M. Place TBD
