The latest in internship offerings from Loyola's community partners!

The Center for Experiential Learning works with a variety of organizations that provide internship opportunities to students. Students must enroll in an internship course at Loyola University in order to receive academic credit for an internship. This hot list consists of featured internships recently made available to Loyola students through the Center for Experiential Learning.

Featured Internships:

American Red Cross of Greater Chicago

The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago (located at 2200 W. Harrison St.) is seeking a Bilingual PR Intern to assist the Communications staff in building awareness of the programs and services offered. This position offers the opportunity to sharpen basic public relations skills and be a part of building the reputation and image of the Chicago Red Cross.  Ideal candidate will have superior Spanish and English writing and speaking skills.

CAIR-Chicago

CAIR-Chicago (located at 28 East Jackson Boulevard, Suite 1410) is the local chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR is the nation's largest Muslim civil rights organization.  The organization currently has over 15 internship opportunities available.

City of Chicago

The City of Chicago (located at 121 North LaSalle Street) has several internship opportunities in the following departments:  Mayor's Office, Dept. of Fleet Management, Dept. of Planning & Development, Information Technology, Law, Law Library, Consumer Services.  An applicant must be an actual resident of the City of Chicago.

Metropolis Performing Arts Centre

Internships at Metropolis (located in Arlington Heights) are a key principle of the Performing Arts Centre's dedication to educating interns for the challenges of the performing arts industry and supply that industry with confident, able and educated job candidates.  Internship opportunities exist in Marketing, Casting, Production Management, Technical Development, Education Administration and Teaching.

 The Cara Program

The Cara Program (located at 703 W. Monroe) is a non-profit organization that assists homeless and at-risk individuals to improve their skills, find full-time employment and achieve real, lasting success.  The Corporate Account Management (CAM) Department intern will provide procedural and clerical support to the CAM team, instruct students/clients individually on assigned tasks, and is responsible for tracking completed work.

Youth Outreach Services

Youth Outreach Services (located at 2411 W. Congress Parkway) is seeking a Human Resources Intern to assist with Recruitment - learn the process of recruitment from the opening of a position to the hire of a new employee; Benefits - discover the administration of various benefits;Training & Development - get involved in the training program from the research and coordination of trainings to the actual implementation of trainings.
