Reset Password - Reset Questions
If you need to reset your password, and you have already set up your PAM questions, you can use PAM from any web browser at any time. Follow this link to begin the process. You will need to open that link in another window or print out these directions.
Once at PAM, you will need to either type in your username in the Username field or type in your last name in the Last Name field. If you have a long last name, you can simply type the first few characters then a *, such as baze*. Then click the Next button under the box you typed in.
You should see a screen with one or more login IDs. Locate your ID and click on it. If you do not see your ID, go back to the initial screen and make sure you correctly typed your login ID. If your name has a yellow or red light next to it, you can click on the light to see the cause. A red light will prevent you from logging in normally.
You will be asked your first question. Type the answer in the box and click Next. Remember that your answers are case sensitive. If you answer incorrectly, go back with your web browser and try again.
After correctly answering the first question, you will be presented with your second question. Type the answer and click Next.
You will be given the opportunity to reset your password. Remember that you password must be at least 8 characters long, contain at least 2 numbers (123) and at least 2 characters (abcABC). Also, it should not be a word found in a dictionary or easily guessed by people who know you. Type in your password, then verify it, then click Submit. If you password meets the criteria listed above, it will be accepted.
You should see a screen confirming that your password has been reset. Wait 60 seconds for the changed password to be replicated between servers, and then you should be able to login with your new password.
