Courtney Moran

About

Courtney Moran is a trial attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice. She represents federal government agencies in civil lawsuits in federal district courts and circuit courts of appeals across the country. Prior to joining DOJ, Courtney represented noncitizens in immigration proceedings as a staff attorney at the National Immigrant Justice Center. Before that, Courtney served as a staff law clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and as an attorney advisor at the Omaha Immigration Court. During law school, she served on the American University Law Review, competed with the Moot Court Honor Society, and was a student attorney in the International Human Rights Law Clinic.
