Graduate Legal Studies

Message from the Director

‌The Office of Graduate Legal Studies (GLS) is the central administrative office for the School of Law’s Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD), Doctor of Laws (D Law), Master of Laws (LLM) and Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) degree programs and is charged with the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures for these programs.

Innumerable are the instances where conflicts, confusions, and controversies have been resolved or at least mitigated through an understanding of specialized areas of law and its practical applications. Loyola’s Graduate Law Programs provide an opportunity for professionals and scholars to enhance career options and use the law more efficiently and effectively for the betterment of society.

Please use this website and its respective links to learn more about each degree program and the various legal concentration areas, to access new and current student information and services, to view details regarding GLS events and graduation, to read news about alumni, and to view career resources and program center and institute web pages.

Thank you for visiting.
