The Campaign for the Future of Loyola

Pillar Society

Supporting the College of Arts and Sciences

The Pillar Society recognizes generous alumni and friends who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more to the College of Arts & Sciences. Your involvement with this highly regarded group will ensure that the college continues the Jesuit tradition of rigorous academic study firmly grounded in the liberal arts.

For more information on the Pillar Society please contact Stephanie Gunter, annual giving officer, at 312.915.7292 or sgunter@luc.edu.

The name, the Pillar Society, comes from the four pillars of Jesuit leadership: self-awareness, ingenuity, love, and heroism. These pillars provide the foundation on which the college and Loyola University Chicago were built. The levels are named for the Jesuit deans of the college with the longest tenures:

William J. Finnegan, S.J., Associates $25,000 or more
Francis B. Cassilly, S.J., Associates $10,000 - $24,999
Joseph Reiner, S.J., Associates $5,000 - $9,999
J.S. Verdin, S.J., Associates $2,500 - $4,999
George J. Leahey, S.J., Associates $1,000 - $2,499

Whether it is an outright gift, a planned gift, or a matching gift, your support is crucial to the College of Arts & Sciences.
