Transferring from other Institutions in Illinois

Choosing a new college is an important decision. We want to make your Loyola transfer as easy as possible, so we’ve developed Transfer Guides for many community colleges in Illinois. Select an institution below for a list of courses that satisfy Loyola's Core Curriculum and specific requirements for the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education, School of Nursing (Health Systems Management and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree programs only), and School of Social Work.

Other academic courses not listed on the Transfer Guides may transfer as electives. A maximum of 64 credit hours can be transferred from community colleges.

ABSN Program: Students with a bachelor's degree may wish to consider the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program. Coursework from the community colleges may be used as prerequisites for this program. Find out more about the ABSN program.
