What is Loyola Mobile?

Loyola Mobile is a suite of applications that allows mobile device users to access a number of Loyola online services, such as LOCUS, maps, and the library, in one location. Loyola Mobile was created in partnership with the Blackboard corporation.

Will Loyola Mobile work any with any mobile device?

As of August, 2010, Loyola Mobile is only available for Apple devices: iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

As of January, 2011, Loyola Mobile is now available for Android platform phones.
NOTE: Not all the features are available currently for Andriod but please refer below to see what features are compatible.

As of April, 2011, Loyola Mobile is now available for Blackberry platform phones.
NOTE: Not all the features are available currently for Blackberry but please refer below to see what features are compatible.

How much does it cost?

The app is free.

How do I get Loyola Mobile?

IPHONE: To install Loyola Mobile on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, visit the Loyola Mobile page in the iTunes App store, then download and install the Loyola Mobile app. Once the Loyola icon is installed, simply click on the icon, wait a few seconds, and then the suite of available services (represented as graphic icons) will appear.

Android: To install Loyola Mobile on your Android, visit the Loyola Mobile page on the Android Market store, then download and install the Loyola Mobile app. Once the Loyola icon is installed, simply click on the icon, wait a few seconds, and then the suite of available services (represented as graphic icons) will appear.

Blackberry: To install Loyola Mobile on your Blackberry, visit the Loyola Mobile page on the Blackberry store, then download and install the Loyola Mobile app. Once the Loyola icon is installed, simply click on the icon, wait a few seconds, and then the suite of available services (represented as graphic icons) will appear.

Can I access Blackboard via Loyola Mobile?

Yes, you can access Blackboard through the Bb Learn icon in Loyola Mobile on the iPhone and Android platforms
