Career Self-Assessment Workshop
(C-SAW)
C-SAW is a two-session workshop designed to help you with your decisions about majors and careers. Self-assessment inventories are used to assist you in determining your interests, values, skills and personality type. With the guidance of a career counselor, you may connect the information you have gathered about yourself to possible majors and careers.
- Session One includes the results of your personality style inventory and a values assessment.
- Session Two includes the results of your interest inventory, a skills assessment, and a framework for relating your results to occupations and the world of work. In addition, you will receive an introduction to career resources.
To participate in C-SAW, you must first meet with a career counselor in a walk-in or formal appointment and register. You must complete the following inventories in advance of the first workshop date:
- Strong Interpretive Report
- MBTI Profile - Form M
Both inventories are available online at https://online.cpp.com. Contact the Career Center if you need the username and password or if you have any problems accessing the inventories.
