Michael Garanzini, S.J., President, has appointed a Faculty Handbook Committee to prepare a revised version of the handbook. One of the critical elements of accomplishing the committee's charge is the solicitation and evaluation of the concerns, issues and suggestions of those members of our university community whose professional lives are affected by such a document. As a result, the committee is seeking the maximum feasible amount of involvement from full- and part-time faculty at Loyola.
Review and Respond
All faculty members are invited to review the
Full-time Faculty Handbook and the
Part-time Faculty Guidebook, and to send their observations to the committee via e-mail to: handbook@luc.edu. All members of the committee will receive any messages sent to this unique e-mail address.
The committee invites comments from individuals, as well as from larger
bodies such as ad hoc groups, organized interest groups, school councils,
departments, affinity groups, etc.
Steps Taken
The Faculty Handbook Committee has been engaged in an extensive process of research and discussion.
