Wireless Locations

Loyola's wireless network provides all Loyola students, faculty, and staff with access to the Internet from multiple locations on campus. Students, faculty and staff can use their wireless-capable devices (laptop computers, PDAs, cell phones) for Internet connections without the need to plug into a network outlet. The network supports 802.11b and 802.11g wireless technology and 802.11a (from the loyola SSID). See a list of currently active wireless locations below.

To view wireless availability and for a list network names (SSID's), select the appropriate map and SSID from the list below:

The first time you open a Web browser, you will be prompted to register your wireless device via NetReg. Registration ensures that the device complies with Loyola network safety standards and provides the latest patches and anti-virus applications for machines currently vulnerable to infection by computer worms and viruses. You will be required to register your device only once.

We are continually in the process of extending the wireless access points so please check the wireless maps (above) on a regular basis for new wireless locations.
