Magis Initiative
The Magis Initiative has been discontinued as of Fall Semester 2007. Magis courses for Fall Semester 2007 will be taught as scheduled, and current Magis Leader scholarships will continue to be funded. Undergraduate seniors who are close to completing all of the requirements for the Magis certificate will be allowed to finish the certificate option. They should contact their academic advisor or Dr. Lisa Kerr, Director, Office of Academic Advising and Services, to review the remaining requirements.
Office of Experiential Learning
Beginning Fall Semester 2007, service-learning development will be coordinated by the new Office of Experiential Learning. Current Magis scholars may continue service learning though offerings coordinated by this new office.
The Office of Experiential Learning will serve as a one-stop office to coordinate internships, research and service-learning opportunities for all undergraduate students. For more information about the new office, visit the Sullivan Center for Student Services after August 27.
