Applying to Graduate

You will need to apply to graduate by the graduation deadline listed on the academic calendar.LUC.edu/academics/schedules

Fall Graduation (Dec):
March 1st

Spring Graduation (May):
October 1st

Summer Graduation (Aug):
October 1st

Loyola University Chicago only has one graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony takes place during graduation weekend in May. Students graduating in the Fall and Summer terms are invited to participate in the May graduation ceremony. Walking across the stage at graduation does not automatically confer your degree.

If you are graduating with two degrees, you MUST apply to each school. For example: You are a Marketing major in the Quinlan School of Business and an Advertising/PR major in the School of Communications. You are a multiple degree student and will need to apply for graduation through both schools.

If you are receiving a minor outside of the Quinlan School of Business you do not need to complete another graduation application other than the Quinlan School of Business application.
