Anesthesiology Interest Group

The Anesthesiology Interest Group (AIG) offers medical students hand-on experience and exposure to anesthesiology and its various subspecialties. Our purpose is to promote education, communication, research, and networking among physicians and students.

For this upcoming year, we will be hosting various programs and events including the Anesthesiology Preceptorship Enrichment Program (APEP), which offers one-on-one exposure to first and second year medical students with an assigned preceptor, a Subspecialty Panel, where specialists in each of these fields discuss career options and answer questions related to their subspecialties, and hands on workshops to gain exposure to skills used in Anesthesiology.
