Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology
The Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree program is a post-master's graduate course of study that provides students an area of educational specialization with an emphasis on practice. The Ed.S. in School Psychology program offered at Loyola University Chicago leads to an Illinois State Board of Education school psychologist certificate (Type 73).
Students without a master's degree should apply for the M.Ed./Ed.S. dual degree program. Successful applicants initially will be admitted to the M.Ed. program in educational psychology. Students with a master's degree in education, social work, counseling or psychology should apply directly to the Ed.S. program in school psychology.
