Dr. McNees hosting a conversation with Dr. Chris Quigg
Dr. Robert McNees will be hosting an “in conversation” event with Fermilab physicist Chris Quigg. They will be talking about his new book Grace in all Simplicity, which explores many of the ideas and observations central to particle physics and cosmology in the 20th and 21st century. The event will take place on February 29th, at Bookends & Beginnings bookstore in Evanston.
Dr. Quigg is a well-known researcher who has made important contributions to particle theory and other areas of physics. He and his co-author have written a wonderfully accessible book -- they challenged themselves to explain core ideas of modern physics without any using equations.
