Students put skills to the test—and win top prizes in contest

Five Loyola students recently took home the top two prizes in a marketing research competition—and with it, an all-expense paid trip to New York City to learn from some of the industry’s biggest players.

Robin D. Fern (MBA '82) has devoted much of her career to making a difference in the lives of others, helping people gain access to basic human rights. As manager of strategic alliances for Water.org, she fosters relationships with strategic partners to drive expansion of the organization's water and sanitation initiatives.

$100 million fundraising effort

The Campaign for Quinlan

The Campaign for Quinlan, a $100 million fundraising campaign to benefit Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business, was unveiled Monday, March 16. The campaign is the largest in the business school’s history.  

Weekend of Excellence: Lauren Konrath

Marketing major Lauren Konrath knows firsthand the challenges that military veterans face when they come to college. That’s why she goes out of her way to help ease the transition for others.  


Joan M. Phillips named American Council on Education Fellow

Quinlan professor, Joan Phillips was selected as an ACE Fellow for the 2015-16 academic year. The Fellowship aims to identify and prepare emerging leaders for senior positions in university administration.  

Students conduct groundbreaking survey of local small businesses

Graduate students collaborated with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce to identify how to help small businesses improve their bottom lines. The results were released at a Chamber event held at Loyola.  


Quinlan Ramble in Texas

Fourteen undergraduate students visit Austin and Dallas to connect with Quinlan alumni, and get an inside look at corporate titans.
