The Department of Theology supplements the content of the coursework offered in both its undergraduate and graduate programs by offering a rich variety of events throughout the academic year—lectures and conferences that include visiting faculty from other major universities in the United States as well as universities in Europe; panel discussions on topical events, and the showing of documentaries and movies. Each year both the John Cardinal Cody Chair of Theology and the Richard A. McCormick Chair of Catholic Moral Theology sponsor major lectures that are open to students, faculty, and staff from the whole university. Please select from the links on the left to explore both upcoming events as well as archives of past events that many times include either an audio or video recording.
