Chief Communications Officer

Leanna Gruhn

Leanna Gruhn is a senior at Loyola majoring in English with a minor in philosophy.  As the Chief Communications Officer of USGA, she hopes to further connections between the USGA and the student body.  Working actively with other student-run organizations, Leanna plans to strengthen the presence of the USGA to increase awareness about the organization's projects, events, and legislation.  In addition, Leanna maintains the USGA's website and social media sites.  She is a member of the Golden Key Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars with a passion for learning.  When she is not busy with school work or USGA activities, she can be found reading, knitting, or speaking Middle English.

 

The Chief Communications Officer manages all public relations and media presence for the entire USGA body. He/She creates a bi-weekly advertisement in The Phoenix and maintains the organization's website and social media platforms. The CCO works with all levels of the USGA to ensure the student body has access to upcoming events, legislation, election information, and various other facets of the organization. The goal of this position is to create total transparency by increasing student awareness of USGA actions.
