Chief Communications Officer
Kelsey O’Shaughnessy is a senior at Loyola, majoring in Communications (Ad/PR), with minors in Environmental Leadership and Action, and International Film and Media Studies. One of her main goals as the CCO is to create transparency within USGA. To begin this effort, she worked with other USGA members and the Phoenix to craft The Gavel, a bi-weekly ad describing new business. She has also been working diligently to improve the website to offer more clarity about USGA actions. She hopes to provide better contact outlets so students feel their voice is being heard, especially through social media. Kelsey is active in Alpha Phi Omega, an on-campus service fraternity, and a local charitycalled Atia’s Project Ladybug Fund, which helps to ease the financial and emotion struggle of childhood cancer. Kelsey also runs a small baking business, called Sweetie, where she crafts homemade cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
