Choose Your Path

Urban Studies pairs with almost any major and can help you turn your interests into meaningful impact.

Make your major more powerful.

Pair Urban Studies with:

Environmental Sustainability · Social Work · Education · Business · Communication · Sociology · Political Science · Criminal Justice · Psychology · History · and more

Whatever you're studying, Urban Studies helps you connect it to the communities, institutions, policies, and inequalities shaping cities.

The Urban Studies Minor is intentionally interdisciplinary, allowing students to tailor the minor to their interests while completing the program's core requirements. The suggested course sequences below illustrate several common pathways through the minor. These pathways are recommended rather than required; students are encouraged to combine courses from multiple pathways or work with an advisor to develop a personalized course sequence that complements their major and career goals.
