Emergency Communications Update

Loyola University Chicago this week is updating our campus-wide emergency notification system to warn students, faculty, and staff more quickly in the event of an immediate or imminent threat and other important situations. Starting today, everyone is now automatically opted in to receive the following two types of messages:

Loyola Alert

Loyola Alert is used exclusively for life-threatening incidents such as barricade/hostage situations, national civil emergencies, violent acts, and health crises as directed by public health authorities.

Loyola Advisory

Loyola Advisory is intended to keep you informed about any important occurrences on our campuses such as severe weather, facilities failures, or all/partial campus closures.
