2026 Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship

Congratulations to Janelle Le Roy, winner of the Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship!  The Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship for Public Service supports students who have a passion for helping others, experience serving their communities, and can demonstrate an expansive view of what’s possible through public service. Janelle is only the 2nd LUC student to win this prestigious award! Janelle, who is studying agricultural economics, will have the opportunity to spend six weeks immersed in community-focused research. She will be in Italy and Japan learning from small-scale farmers, connecting their stories to policy, and exploring new ways to reimagine equity in food and trade.
