Presley Berry

2026 Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship grantee

Congratulations to Presley Berry who was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship grant to Colombia!

When asked what winning the Fulbright ETA meant to them, Presley said:

“I have spent so much of my undergraduate experiences engaged with work with people whose life experiences differ from my own. These experiences have made me a better person, a more curious student, and a dedicated public servant. I knew that Fulbright provided me with an additional opportunity to expand these skills and better prepare myself for the future. Following Fulbright, I will enter law school, with the long-term goal of becoming an immigration attorney. I do not only want the educational knowledge to assist people in their immigration journey, but the emotional capacity to be an advocate and a friend to everyone I work with. Fulbright is an exciting opportunity to challenge myself, share my own culture while learning from others, and fully understand how to make connections with diverse groups of people. Thank you again for all of your help! I am so excited for this opportunity and could not have done it without such an incredible support system at Loyola!”
