Loyola Olympians Over 10,000 athletes from all over the world made their way to Paris on July 26 to contend for gold medals in 329 events. Two of those athletes honed their athletic skills at Loyola. And on August 9, they helped the U.S. Men’s National Team earn its third bronze medal in Olympic history. Read more

Celebrating Steve Watson's Leadership This fall marks the 10th anniversary of Steve Watson’s leadership as Loyola’s director of athletics. Under his guidance, the University has achieved significant milestones, with an impressive 21 NCAA tournament appearances, highlighted by an NCAA championship in men’s volleyball in 2015 and a Final Four appearance in men’s basketball in 2018. President Reed's NCAA Appointment President Mark C. Reed, EdD began a four-year term on the NCAA Division I Board of Directors, effective October 1. This appointment representing the Atlantic 10 Conference on the board of the NCAA’s most competitive division follows six years of service as chair of the A-10 Presidents’ Council including one year as Loyola’s president and five years as president of Saint Joseph’s University.
