Human Ethics (IRB)

Important Considerations:  

  • Approved studies in the CAP system require a Legacy submission to transfer study data to the new Cayuse system; only after this action can follow-on submissions be created for the approved legacy study 
  • Collaborative projects are no longer a separate submission type within the Cayuse system; please create an initial submission and select Collaborative Research under General Information 
  • To add investigators to any Cayuse study, send a list of the users, including their First Name/s, Last Name/s, and Email Address/es affiliated with their CITI account to itsservicedesk@luc.edu; It is vital that the email address used to add the investigator to Cayuse be the same as the investigator’s CITI email address, so CTI training records transfer into the Cayuse system
