Past symposia have included two day-long events featuring prominent national experts: one focusing on current legal issues in the “War on Terror” and another on the legal accuracy and effect of the first ever U.S. Department of Defense Law of War Manual.

Prior programming has included lectures and panel discussions on topics ranging from the Syria missile strikes and the status of Deferred Action for Childhood Admissions and so-called “sanctuary” cities to police accountability and reform in Chicago and the right of national self-defense against North Korea.

Other events have include a national security law career panels and a formal appellate hearing of the Army Court of Criminal Appeals.
