Welcome to the Graduate School!

A Message from the Associate Dean of Graduate Education at the Health Sciences Campus

Learn about the degree programs offered by the Graduate School on the Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Campus (HSC) programs supported by faculty, staff, and resources of the Stritch School of Medicine. This is an exciting time in biomedical research and healthcare, a time of unprecedented change and opportunity for those trained to meet the evolving scientific and professional environment.

The exponential growth in our understanding of mechanisms underlying health and disease is paralleled by the need for collaborative, interdisciplinary research and by the rapid expansion of a truly global scientific and healthcare community. Our HSC faculty and programs are committed to preparing individuals who will excel and contribute to the evolution of scientific knowledge and its impact on the future of healthcare and its delivery.

In addition to a broad range of disciplines for PhD and MS degrees in the  Biomedical Sciences, we offer advanced degrees and certificates in Bioethics.  Due to the constantly changing landscape of research and medicine, graduate study is more interdisciplinary than ever.

Our PhD program consists of six academic tracks within the Integrated Program in Biomedical Sciences (IPBS).  The IPBS brings together HSC  researchers from multiple disciplines in the biomedical sciences for the common goal of providing flexible options for health-related careers in academia or industry.  We are committed to creating an individualized graduate experience that is tailored to your future!  Learn about our programs and apply today.
