Carolyn Corbran, PhD

Carolyn Corbran, PhD (she/her) has served as the Director for Student Accessibility Center since April 2025 in the Student Success division where she provides direction and leadership to the SAC team! She oversees the accommodations services supporting Loyola’s students with disabilities. She provides guidance and faculty development opportunities for faculty to assist with the facilitation of accommodations for students.
She began her career in facilitating accommodations in 2010 as the Assistant Director for the Office of Disability Services at Fordham University and then became the Director in 2011 at Fordham University. She joined Barnard College in 2014 as the Director in the Office of Disability Services. She opened the satellite office as Assistant Director in 2018 at Seton Hall University’s Interprofessional Health Sciences Campus working with students in programs including medical, nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language-pathology, athletic training, and healthcare administration. She became the Director in 2021 of Disability Support Services at Seton Hall University overseeing accommodations for three campuses including the Law School.
Carolyn is an active member of the Association for Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) and served in 2024-2025 on the AHEAD Board of New Jersey.
Carolyn holds a PhD in education from Fordham University, an MS.Ed in counseling from Fordham University, and a BA in political science and sociology/anthropology from Lake Forest College.
