Senior Associate Director of Employer Relations, Career Services

Jim leads the Employer Relations team f Career Services which engages recruiters to provide more job and internship opportunities for Loyola University Chicago students. He also implemented the Handshake Career Services platform at Loyola and assists colleagues in gaining the greatest benefit from the platform. 

Before working in higher education, he served another institution in launching Employer Relations efforts in the Chicago area. He previously worked in book publishing, as well as website design and development. He led award-winning trade show teams and led workshops in digital and tradeshow marketing at various gatherings, including Parks and Recreation, Healthcare, and Chambers of Commerce. He has also served as a panelist for the Chicago Career Professionals Network about paths to a career in Career Services. 

Jim holds a bachelors degree in speech communication/theatre from North Central College and a certificate in the Advanced Studies Program for bible and theology from The Moody Bible Institute.
