Lauren Sanchez, MEd

Director of Student Transitions and Academic Partnerships, Student Academic Services


Lauren serves as Director of Student Transitions and Academic Partnerships. In her role, she provides leadership for the Tutoring Center and the Office of New Student Programs, as well as operational support for retention-related projects and faculty engagement in student success efforts. Her role includes leading integrated programming and services that support the orientation of new students to the university, the development of academic and executive functioning skills, and connection to and utilization of academic success resources and educational support.   

Lauren joined Loyola in 2009 and has served as an Academic Advisor and Senior Academic Advisor in the College of Arts & Sciences, and most recently as Assistant Dean in the School of Communication. She is a certified Appreciative Advisor and previously co-chaired the Commission for Academic Support in Higher Education through the American College Personnel Association.
