During this busy time of the semester it isn’t always easy to spend time thinking about your future career options. But the more time you invest early on, the more satisfied you likely will be with the career you choose. After all, most employees work approximately 40 – 50 hours per week. Those hours will fly by if you enjoy the work you do!
How do you get there? It’s okay to re-start or start small. In fact, many college students change their majors at least once. The CDC has some great resources to get you on the right path:
- Career Self-Assessment Workshops (C-SAW) – See your career advisor for registration.
- Career & Life Planning Seminar (CPSY 224) – Register on Nov. 4 for spring semester.
Now is a great time to talk to a career advisor about finding the right internship. In addition, students with required internships can attend upcoming orientation sessions and start planning for spring semester!
