The Center for Comparative Education (CCE) is an interdisciplinary research center within the School of Education of Loyola University Chicago. Scholars in this area use the tools of the social sciences and the humanities to study educational issues that have a global or international dimension. At the CCE we are particularly interested in making social justice more prominent in education systems and discussions around the globe.
Established in 2006, the CCE is now directed by Dr. Noah W. Sobe, Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director of Cultural and Educational Policy Studies at Loyola University Chicago. As part of working to advance the comparative and international education professional community and advance teaching and research in this area at Loyola we sponsor lectures, host webinars, manage a blog, and support a number of publishing and research initiatives.
