The University, CAS, and FS Program are excited to welcome Dr. Adam Negrusz

Dr. Negrusz brings a wealth of experience to Loyola and the Forensic Science Program. He is a board-certified toxicologist (The American Board of Forensic Toxicology) with more than 40 years of experience in forensic toxicology and drug analysis, in both public and private labs.  He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Nicolaus Copernicus Medical University and a Habilitated Doctorate from Collegium Medicum Jagiellonian University.  He obtained tenure at the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy and served as the Assistant Director of Graduate Studies in Forensic Sciences.  He has served as the Director of the University of Illinois at Chicago Animal Forensic Toxicology Laboratory, and the Laboratory Director (2014 - 2020), Director of Research, Clinical Consultant and a Vice-President at the United States Drug Testing Laboratories, Inc.  He is a co-editor of now second edition of the book Clarke’s Analytical Forensic Toxicology.

 

Dr. Negrusz will begin teaching in Fall 22.
