Steering Committee

Composed of representatives from four major centers across Loyola University, the Steering Committee is a multidisciplinary cohort of faculty and staff that have overseen the initiative since its inception in fall 2011.

Center for the Human Rights of Children represents, coordinates, and stimulates efforts to understand, protect and apply the human rights of children.

Center for Urban Research and Learning creates innovative solutions that promote equity and opportunity in communities throughout the Chicago metropolitan region by building and supporting collaborative research and educational efforts.

Loyola Law School’s Civitas ChildLaw Center promotes the concept of children’s rights in all of our work. Consistent with that vision, the Center’s mission is to prepare law students, lawyers and other leaders to be effective advocates for children.

Institute of Environmental Sustainability engages students in understanding and responding to local and global environmental issues.
