Dr. Kilbane recevied her Ph.D. from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois in Chicago and MSW degree from the School of Social Service Administration, University of Chicago. In addition to serving as the co- Princial Investigator for Evaluation/Research for Office of Minority Health, Minority Youth Violence Prevention I, Dr. Kilbane's recent projects include a survey of field work instructors to assess the prevalence and the use of groups at their agencies and researching how social workers perceive advocacy.
