Join us on October 26 at the Damen Student Center Cinema to view the drama A Man for All Seasons, depicting the last years of Sir Thomas More's life under the reign of Henry VIII, followed by a discussion with Dr. Robert Bucholz from Loyola's History Department.

The Thinkpiece video series features Catholic Studies minors and alum discussing various issues and concepts as they relate to the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. In the first video, Angelo Canta talks about the Catholic understanding of personhood.

[An Agenda Disrupted: The 2018 Synod on Young People]
With recent sexual scandals and cover-ups in mind, the Young Church holds its breath, seeking a place to turn. On the opening day of the Synod on Youth, this student-led event seeks to give us the opportunity to voice what kind of Church we wish to be a part of. A "safe haven" event hosted by the Catholic Studies Minor and the students of Loyola.
