Enrollment Systems, Research & Reporting

The Enrollment Systems, Research & Reporting (ESRR) team is divided into two main groups: Systems Analysts and Research & Strategy Analysts. The Research & Strategy Analysts are primarily responsible for conducting original research to identify, monitor, and capitalize on new enrollment trends. To this end, ESRR Research & Strategy Analysts generate primary and secondary research reports to distill actionable insights to help shape the university's enrollment policies and goals.

Furthermore, ESRR's research team collaborates with various departments to assess and enhance current, as well as propose new academic and student services programming. The focus of much of this research is on enhancing Loyola's position within the national academic landscape by remaining responsive to the needs of an ever-changing prospective student population.

Examples of prior research reports are available in the  ,  , and   subsections.

Landscape Analyses: Landscape analyses are comprehensive reviews of current or proposed academic programs tailored to an individual department by degree program. Core components of the final report are subject to change depending on the needs of the stakeholder(s), often varying from project-to-project. However, a standard landscape analysis focuses on a defined competitive set of 8-10 institutions and includes information drawn from state and federal databases, as well as institutional websites.

Enrollment Systems, Research & Reporting provides customized website visit reports for individual colleges and programs within the university using Google Analytics. These reports provide a reference point for monitoring the impact of ongoing and new marketing campaigns.

Funnel reports provide a snapshot of admissions activities across colleges and majors at Loyola University Chicago. Reports are conducted on a weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly basis.

Archived reports are available for review by Loyola staff and faculty upon request.

The 10th Day Funnel reports reflect offical enrollment numbers for both the incoming Fall and Spring cohorts as reported by the Office of Institutional Research. These reports are produced twice per year, once in the fall 10 days after the beginning of the term and once in the spring 10 days after the beginning of the term.
