Charles Tocci, Ed.D., is assistant professor of Social Studies Education at Loyola University Chicago. He is a former Chicago Public Schools history teacher who has been teaching Social Study courses for the past 13 years. Dr. Tocci earned his doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University and most recently co-authored "The Curriculum Foundations Reader," published by Palgrave in 2020.
