With over twenty-five years of high-level compliance, quality, and operations management experience in freight forwarding and international shipping, Daniela has an impressive track record for excellence in the industry. During the last three years, she has been instrumental in growing Gebrüder Weiss USA from 10 to 200 employees and from $2 million total revenue to over $100 million annually.  As an expert in compliance and a personal commitment to sustainability, Daniela has successfully streamlined multiple business departments and implemented a paperless process for the entire Gebrüder Weiss company.

A native Austrian, Daniela, has been working for the Austrian-based International Transport company, Gebrüder Weiss, since she completed college. As she honed her skills at the world’s oldest transport company, Daniela quickly excelled and was stationed in Chicago to contribute to the company’s expansion plans in the United States starting in 2003. Her certifications include IATA / IMDG DG Certification, FMC Qualified Individual, TSA Security Coordinator, CTPAT Company Coordinator, and SGS Internal Auditor Accreditation.

Daniela is an avid skier and is, of course, fluent in German.
