Dianne Dawson Daniels

Dr. Dianne M. Dawson currently serves as Associate Professor and Management Program Chair at Loyola University Chicago where she teaches management, leadership, and strategy courses.

Dianne M. Dawson has industry experience as a corporate finance executive stemming from years of work for major corporations such as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, Sprint and Sprint PCS, Conseco, and ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank. She has established a consulting practice serving as Business Development advisor and Strategic Planning coach. As a consultant, Dr. Daniels has advised organizations large and small in areas of strategy and implementation; partnering with entrepreneurs, professional organizations, and corporate entities at various stages of business growth. Her experience working in industries such as High-Tech Manufacturing, Telecommunications, and Financial Services in areas such as Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations, Financial Systems and Cost Accounting allows her to bring a broad perspective to issues of financial management, organizational development and strategy.

Dr. Dawson earned her Doctorate in Business Administration and a Master’s Certificate in Qualitative Research from Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Management and focus on Ethical Leadership. In addition she holds a Master of Science degree from Purdue University’s Krannert Graduate School of Management with a focus in Finance. Dianne Dawson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana with a major in Economics and a minor in Finance and also holds certification in Strategy & Management from The American Management Association. She has held management responsibilities across regions and developed teams to support functional areas within organizations that include Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology, Operations and other Corporate Shared Services such as Human Resources and Finance. In addition Dr. Dawson is a trained Six-Sigma DMAIC Greenbelt with process improvement experience.

She served on the board of Esusu Investments, Inc. and RIF Chicago, advised multiple boards nation-wide and completed strategic planning efforts for non-profit boards locally and regionally. She has held roles as Assistant Dean, Administrative Faculty, and Full-time Faculty at Olivet Nazarene University and Loyola University Chicago. Dianne M. Dawson is a Registered Leadership and Executive coach, a SOAL® certified Coach & Consultant, and a Polaris® Leadership Consultant. Dr. Dawson specializes in Organizational and Individual Performance Management, Strategic Planning, Leadership Training, and Executive Coaching, serving as an advisor to Chief Officers, Organizational Presidents and Vice Presidents, Boards of Directors, Executive Directors, and Senior Management teams across industry sectors.
