Sara Carlson
I am a CPA with 22 years experience in public accounting (12 years as partner). My entire career has been in audit. I have spent my career working with SEC Registrants as well as private entities. I have worked on countless SEC filings, including a number IPOs, reverse mergers, and mergers. I have also worked in a variety of industries ranging from software (including multi-element arrangements) to oilfield services as well as manufacturing, distribution, retail, financial services and not-for profit. During my time as an audit partner, I’ve served as a line partner, an audit practice leader and for the last 6 years, served in the National office as a professional standards partner supporting the quality monitoring and technical support efforts of the Firm. I am also on faculty at Loyola University-Chicago as an adjunct professor teaching ACCT 323 - Advanced CPA Topics.
