Beyond Government Grants
Beyond Government Grants
Securing Private & Family Foundation Funding
Hosted by Loyola University Chicago and presented by the Institute for Racial Justice, this three-part workshop series is designed for researchers, nonprofit leaders, and social change practitioners. The hybrid experience equips participants with the tools and strategies to secure funding from private and family foundations. Grounded in equity, community engagement, and systemic change, the series blends hands-on grant writing, funder research, and real-world case building. Each component is aligned with racial, economic, and social justice. The workshop reflects the view that grant writing is not just a means to funding; it is also a vehicle for storytelling, accountability, and structural change.
