The Damen Awards, named in honor the university's founder and first president, Rev. Arnold Damen, S.J., are presented annually to an alumnus/a of each school and college within Loyola University Chicago. The award recognizes leadership in industry, community and service to others. The award is presented at the annual Founders' Dinner, which commemorates those who founded the university by honoring those individuals who continue to help it thrive.
